Women’s Ultimate Frisbee will be hosting a women’s one day hat* tournament on September 18th to anyone interested in playing ultimate frisbee, including non-university students! This is a great, low-pressure opportunity to play the game for beginners and allow for an opportunity to play with more experienced players in the Madison area. Is there any better way to spend a fall day? Nope.
Here’s how to join in on the fun on September 18th with some fabulous people:
8:15 am: Registration begins
8:45 am: Teams determined
9:00 am: Games start
For players trying out for Bella Donna or Atropa, please be at the fields by 8:00 am to warm up as a team.
FREE (!!) for UW-Madison students
$5 for non-students (you can PayPal firstname.lastname@example.org)
Bring a white and a dark jersey and water
Can’t wait for the games to begin? Neither can we! So sign up here and we will see you September 18th:
*A hat tournament is a tournament in which the players sign up as individuals rather than as teams. The organizer then randomly assigns players to different teams, usually by pulling names out of a hat. (Funky hats are also encouraged.)
